Why Dues are necessary: Dues are a necessary component of our sustainability and ability to provide value. Dues-paying member agencies provide financial sustainability to DAHCC and reap the benefit from our collective efforts. Please join with us as stakeholders and advocates for home care in Delaware by becoming a member of DAHCC.

DAHCC was formed in the early 1980’s by a coalition of Home Health Care agencies, including the Visiting Nurse Association of Delaware, Quality Care Home Health Care, Professional Home Health Care, and  Wilmington Hospital Home Health Care. It was joined shortly thereafter by many newly formed home health care agencies such as the hospital-based companies of St. Francis, Kent General, Milford Memorial, and Beebe. BAYADA, Generations, Oncology Care, Neuro- Care / Total Care and others soon became actively involved and have maintained a long history with the association.  Through the years, the association grew to include multiple levels of home care licensure including Home Health Skilled, Home Health Aide Only, and Personal Assistance Service Agencies. The name was changed to the Delaware Association for Home and Community Care to embrace these increased services.

The purpose of the organization has been, and remains, to facilitate communication, collaboration, education, and advocacy.
